Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue of Northern California takes in those unwanted, abandoned or lost Ridgebacks. After evaluating the dogs for problems, both health and/or temperament, each is given a physical examination by a vet, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and microchipped for identification. Prospective homes for these dogs are screened as carefully as possible and a suitable match is made between rescue dog and adoptive owner.
